Looking to refresh Subway’s positioning as the freshest choice, there was a need to keep Subway’s messaging of freshness relevant. Working off the springboard that with Subway®, there is no compromising on goodness, the main campaign idea was drawn to bring up Subway’s taste proposition, as well as its health and freshness proposition.  

The idea was to position Subway® as the “no compromise” choice - food that tastes good and feels good and in the process, raise the craveability of Subway® (great taste, full of satisfaction).

By speaking and acting like a challenger brand, it was meant to entertain our audience at every touchpoint and prove that Subway® is not just another fast food brand. It’s a more premium experience with lifestyle appeal - healthy, active and aspirational.

Inspired by what Subway® stands for, the visual approach is a refreshing departure from the QSR category norm. It’s fresh, hip, youthful, Instagram-worthy and exudes everyday casual chic. And this is consistently portrayed in the look and feel across all three directions.
